it is used to tap the tempo in (rather than numeric input)
if for example you want to synchronize live to a live band or a song clip this is helpful
anyway try to assign it to a key (of your computer keyboard or midi...) - with the mouse you won't get decent tapping

doesnt work...
hello..
maybe i have no rhythm sense, but i think, the tap botton (also, when it is assigned to any key on the keyboard) doesnt work very good.
im trying and trying but the tempo just won't to be similar to, for example, a running vinyl.
its harm, that, when i use the up and down-keys to adapt the tempo and create something like a pitch bend with that, it will only change in 1 bpm steps, which is too inaccurately i think.
does anyone have a solution for this problem? it would be a big help..
