yesterday i had my first dj-gig with Live. But i had some really strange Problems, hope somebody can help.
I am using an ECHO Audiofire2, which was my 2. choice and i bought it because it was recommended to me. originally i wanted to buy the M-Audio Audiophile, but the seller told me, ECHO is much better, IS THAT RIGHT ??? )
So at the club in the night i built up my equipment, but the computer told me "NO AUDIO HARDWARE DETECTED ! All wiring were correct connected ! I restartet the system ten times, but everytime the same happened: NO HARDWARE FOUND !! I am using the ECHO unit via firewire 400 and an external power device. So, this was my first Laptop-Gig !
Fortunately i had a Recordcase with me...
So and now the best: Back in the Hotel i tried it again and it WORKED !!!
Ok guye, PLEASE can anybody help me to solve this strange problem.
Does anybody know something about this `?
Maybe its the voltage, the firewire 400 ?
I must have a reliable machine !
I think about to change the ECHO and take M-Audio !
Some opinion???
please help me, my next gig is on schedule !!
