About loops

Here's a very difficult question  : How can I set the number of times a loop is played. How many methods are there acutally?
Until now I've played the guitar/keyboard-parts from the beginning to the end, but I takes many recording sessions to do it right, so I thought why not loop actually. The thing is the loop stops after 2 times played. I guess there's another way than to record the loop 10 times.
Sorry if I'm boring you with this question

Hi ya, if you double click on the clip that you want to loop the clip will come up at the bottom of the screen this is known as the clip view,in this clip view you will have headings like[clip, lanch, sample and envelopes] go to the lanch part of the clip view, now you will see the [follow action] section and ther will be 3 boxes, in the first box type in how many times you want your loop to play then go to the box under that click on it and make sure it is set to stop that should sort it. :D

make sure that that you have the follow action set to stop because if its set to no action which i think is the default setting it will keep playing until you stop it urself

Got it, thx Mike.
Actually there are many great things to do in the launch box, like looping only a part of the clip. Cool :D
