sound card / sample rate issues

in the last few days any audio i play through winamp or any other audio source (myspace, WMP, youtube, etc) appears to be playing 2x slow. sometimes it speeds up by 5-10 bpm. i check my main sound card settings (I have an M-Audio Delta 1010-LT) everything seems okay.

this seems to have started after messing with sample rate within live. it seems to kick in once i render audio from live. this has also started since i started using Ableton Live 6.

i am wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? i guess the adjustments i have made in live have influenced other settings in the sound card....?

when playing back video on say youtube, the video is the correct speed but everything is pitched way the fuck down.

any suggestions? i mean, i am going to restart and it will probably work, but this is getting really annoying.
