Not quite the same thing but an interesting device, Danny Mac's DM01, due march (and built by Kenton):

Ecler is supposed to present a new improved Nuo mixer, something of a cross between the MIDI capable Nuo4 and the FX laden Nuo 5 but it won't be called Nuo 6, that is all i know..(from a chat at last years Musikmesse in Frankfurt).

I could probably hook you up with a pluggo or max patch that converts 1 CC to notes. So that you can use a knob to navigate clips.

Or get a faderfox module. They also come with a scene navigation knob.

Come to think of it, I could probably "emulate" that knob on a bcr with a push encoder...

Or... wait for the faderfox units with endless encoders. They're bound to be announced any week now...

The Faderfoxes are overpriced, IMO.

And Ecler makes REALLY nice products. I bought a Nuo5 over a Pioneer DJM-800 and couldn't be happier.
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ laptop, 1 gig of ram
M-Audio Axiom 49
Korg PadKontrol
Roland JP-8080
Korg MS2000r

Ableton Live 6
Fruity Loops 6 XXL Producer Edition
Korg Legacy Collection
Waves DIAMOND bundle

125 quid for a controller? Pretty good really.

...and they're super nifty and well built for that price too. I'm well happy with my LV1.

whoa... where have you seen them for 125 quid? i'd get one for that. i've never seen them for less than 150. (i'd still wait for the next gen though)

LV1's were that price.

The second generation I've seen for £147 (edit: Digital Reaction have em here: http://www.thereactor.co.uk/index.asp?f ... &catid=188

The LV2 if mapped correctly (use Bomes/midiStroke for key mappings) would possibly be even more useful. Well worth the money.

I'm waiting for the new ones though too. I'd love to see encoders with LED positional rings around them (ala BCR).

Y'know I've just realised you're in the US. Yeah high prices for Faderfox over there I guess.

The shoe is on the other foot. We more or less have $=£ prices for most gear (apart from Faderfoxes) over here (UK).
