Hi,
First post and its a question.
What I would like to do is have on computer running live and then a second with kore running all my softsynth.
Rather than having a multi out/in card on both computers, is there a virtual sound card that allows me to route multi channel audio from a host, which appears as sound card output to another computer running similar software, with a network or usb cable hooking them up?

Yes, there are some sort of application that will let you host VSTs on a remote computer, transparently from your DAW.

But I can't remember the name of it right now....

Jack Pilot for Mac does what you need I think... may need to use it in conjunction with another app.

I had a look at jack, it seems great for routing audio on the same pc but not between two computers. I am going to give mLan a go, I'll keep you filled in...

You might like to try 'Wormhole' which my company makes - routing between computers over ethernet via plugins.

Theres a demo time period on Wormhole so you can make sure it works in your system.
