Live 6.0 will not detect my firewire 410

i have reinstalled my firewire 410 interface several times, but LIve 6.0 will not read it, anyone know why? thanks !
you probably will need to post more information about what setup you are running and any other relevant info so people can help.
did you have live 5 before and it worked?
i am running osx 10.4.8, live 6.0.1, macbook pro and it runs great with my 410
