Live Lite 6 to Live 6 upgrade problem! ??

I have been using M-Audio enhanced Live Lite 6 and just paid my 299 dollars to upgrade to the full version. I installed it, open up Live, and Live Lite 6 still opens instead. I uninstalled Live Lite 6 and re-installed the new full version, open up Live, and LIVE LITE 6 still opened up! My new version shows it's registered on Ableton's site. Any idea why this is happening or what I can do different? I'm frustrated...after spending 300 dollars, I'd really like to use the program today. Thanks!! :?

Hello,

In fact, you just have to upgrade your version by unlocking Live with the new Live 6 full version that was given to you when you upgraded.

Open you version of Live 6, open the Preferences, Products tab, and select 'Live'. Then click the 'unlock other' button, and enter your new serial number.

Kind regards,
Amaury

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a EMU X board 25 controller, The EMU website says that this product includes Live Lite 4, but the online retailers dont mention anything about this. I have already emailed the online retailer regarding this, but was just wondering if anyone knew whethere the X board controllers come with Live lite 4?

Im not quite sure what the M-Audio enhanced Live lite 6 edition is. How do I get this version. I'm also looking to purchase a M-Audio X -sessions Pro controller, would this make me eligable to use the M-Audio Live lite 6 software.

I cannot afford paying for my midi controllers and Ableton all at the same time , therefore Im looking for Controllers that come with a Live Lite version so after awhile I can upgrade.

Does Live Lite 6 also come with the DJ feature?

A reply would be much appreciated.

Thankyou very much.

Hi,
I can't answer for anything by EMU, but if you go to the M-Audio webpage, it will list what software comes with each product. I bought the M-Audio Axiom 25 keyboard. In my experience, even though a retailier may list the product as coming with Live Lite 4, mine actually had the newer Live Lite 5, and it was a free upgrade on the web to Live Lite 6. Mine also came with some other software such as an M-Audio Powered Protools demo and a cd with some loops and samples.

Anyway, just check the manufacturer website as your best bet to ensure software is included. Good luck!

ooops,

P.S. I purchased the Firewire 410 interface by M-Audio as well, and it actually came with a copy of Live Lite as well.

Yeah, I see on the site where it comes with Enigma but that's it. There is another controller that does come with Live Lite, but it costs closer aroun 249 I believe.

Short of contacting M-Audio and seeing if they can include a copy of Live Lite if you buy the X-Session, perhaps you may want to check Ebay and see if anyone bought two things, got two copies of the software like I did, and are selling one of them for cheap. As long as they haven't loaded it and used the unlock key/serial number, it would still be a legit copy.

Good luck
