Lately I've been digging a little into plug-in development, and I found this. I downloaded the demo and quite easily made a CPU hungry EQ3 copy.

The problem is I can't find a way to make the plug in parameters (called arguments in SB) to appear and be controllable from Live's default plug-in layout, thus they aren't MIDI mappable).

The problem is that normal arguments don't show. There is an alternative MIDI argument called MIDI slider that does show the slider in Live's plug in view, but I can't find a way to make it respect the min and max values I assign. It either outputs 0 or -NaN.

Has anyone been able to make it work? I seriously want to ditch my *coughcrackedcough* Reaktor which I don't put to use anymore, and this seems to be a good option, but if I can't make it work with Live the way I want it to there's no point to it.

rb, did you ever get this figured out? I've just run into the same problem.

Does anyone else have an answer?

nah, normal sliders just don't show in live's GUI and MIDI sliders don't respond well, so I just dropped it.
