I love that I can import movies in as .dv or .mov files but when I write to disk they save as dv.asd
How can I import my films as .dv or .mov so I can edit them again in other applications?
Am I missing a step?

please help??

Currently there is no Quicktime export function in Live. The .dv.asd files are only Live data files containing information about the clip, warping and such.

on quicktime pro, you can just paste ("add to movie") your rendered audio from Live to the video.
