Hey,

I am having problems recording with Live Lite 5. I just want to record my guitar with sound coming from tone port. Why do I get no sound, and the tutorials suck. Thanks if you can help!

You must not be watching the right tutorials. They sure helped me a lot when I was starting out.

First, you have to set up your sound card's inputs and outputs in preferences.
Then, you select a channel into which you want to record, and set it to accept from whichever input you're using on your sound card.
Then, play some notes to make sure you're getting a signal, and arm the recording button to hear your guitar. If no volume, check all your volume controls.
When you get a signal in the VU of the channel into which you're recording, just hit one of the record clips, and bingo, you've recorded something.
