Syncing via MIDI clock is problem

I hope that I have done something wrong and its not a software issue.
I have sync two pcs (one with an m-audio audiophile and one with a teratecc phase 28) via MIDI clock in song mode.
When I make a loop they get ubsyced in terms of bar,beat position.
I mean that they still start and stop together but at different points...
