Position Line ahead with Delay Compensation on

Post by dr.wackler » Thu Dec 14, 2006 2:03 am

[Live 6.0.1]

Today I had a hard time visually following what I was hearing, only to find out that when Delay Compensation is switched on, the Position Line (or Play Marker or whatever you call it) was moving way ahead of what was being played back.

Shouldn't the Position Line show you exactly the position of what is actually being sent to the output? I think so!

Are you using the right audio drivers? You really should use ASIO. If your soundcard doesn't have native support, download and install Asio4all.

Now, if you use a mac... ask the next nerd. :)
