Rendering to disk alters song tempo and pitch of tracks

Hi.

I have a song where the vocal track has been recorded at 48Khz 16bit stereo
and other tracks are created using VSTs.
The Live Audio parameters are set to 48Khz 24bit and sound conversion rate is High Quality.

When I render the song at 44Khz 16bit, what I obtain is a slower song with the vocal track out of tune, thus it seems I was completely drunk when recording vocals...

Conversely when I render at 48Khz 24bit the tempo is correct and the Vocal track is in tune with the rest.

I'am on a MacBook 2.0Ghz Core 2 Duo, using internal card when rendering.
This sounds like a bug to me, or better a drunken bug....

What warp mode were you using on the track before you rendered?

Not sure, should be tone, because it's my default.
