audiorecording problem

hi there
I have a big problem I've never had before.
While pluging in my guitar, and trying to record some tracks, it doesn't only record the audio signal, ..it also records f.ex. the click or background signals that come out of my speakers.
does anyone know this problem? it drives me nuts, really, ....I don't have a micro pluged in, i tried with headphones, ....nothing works, ...somehow it records not only the wanted guitar, ...it also records the "backgrounds".
