I don't like my Remote SL 25 because...

1. I can't work out how to get rid of the latency. I didn't have a problem with my old MIDI Yamaha keyboard plugged into my soundcard.
2. The CPU thing jumps to 10% every time I just hit a key.
3. Perhaps I'm stupid but twiddling the knobs and faders seems to make sod all difference to anything on the screen. What do they all automap too!?
4. 25 keys aren't enough I want a proper keyboard again.

Perhaps I'm getting too old. I'm going to sell it and just get a normal MIDI controller keyboard. Any recommendations?

Where do you live, and how much do you want for it?

AFA other keyboards, CME get good reviews, and the keys are supposed to feel good. Korg Kontrol 49 is a similar idea, yet 49 keys!

Wow. I'm going to have to say at least watch the tutorial videos at the site. I think you get some on the dvd that comes with it too. Maybe even read some of the manual, because seriously the first three reasons are completely ludicrous (no offence). #4 is a valid preference, but you should simply get one with more keys then as there are three other models with more keys. It's a great unit, and these problems are either unrelated to the SL or easily sorted by taking a few minutes with the vids and manuals.

If you put an hour or two into learning how to use it, and then have issues, we're here to help. I personally don't think getting a different keyboard will be any easier and you'll cheat yourself out of some great features.

regards,
