Clicks in Live 6 with M-audio FW 310

Post by DJWaxluva » Thu Dec 28, 2006 5:11 pm

Hi,
I've got a strange problem when I'm running Live 6(.0.3) on my Macbook with M-audio FW 410 interface.
First time I play a loaded project after I have started the machine, I get a popping sound. or it's like the sound cuts out a short period and the CPU load jumps to about 80 % or something...

If I exit Live, and reopen the project, the problem is gone. It only happens once after the computer has been started. And it happens to all my projects...

I'm using a brand new macbook with intel duo 2 core 2Ghz with 2GB ram.

Here's a soundclip of the problem. recorded straight from live. The first time, you can hear the clip, with the click/pop, and the it plays again without the click/pop.

And also a picture of the project, with the options window open.

If you listen to the soundclip and watch the screenshot, you can see that it happens at the start of beat 5. When all the clips except one, starts playing...

As you can see; I've set it up with 331 samples, 44100 sample rate, and only outputs 1&2 selected...

What can the problem be?
Is it related to Ableton Live, The macbook, or the FW 410 interface?
