I cant get this black box thing to recod vocals through the Live Lite GTR 4 program that came with it...it records guitar fine but no mic...i am wondering what the hell it could be. I dont mean to be the tard and all but I am clueless...any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Have you attached a working microphone?

Just kidding... err, first thing to check for in Live: The mic signal will be coming in on a different track than the guitar. You need to select the correct input. If you talk at your mic and click the input selector for yer track, you should see a list of available inputs - there'll be a bouncing green-yellow-red bar next to it if you got signal.

Also, at the risk of being condescending, have you checked that your cables are working and that, if your mic requires it (which type is it?), phantom power is enabled on your interface?
