While you've temporarily abandonned this thread do you mind if I jump in to point people in the direction of my new song at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paul.barre ... Public.mp3? Any feeback would be appreciated.

i love this track. nice melody and very good arrangement.

only the beats sound a little bit lofi in the solo part (might be the mp3 compression), and 1 or 2 sounds are quite close to well known presets. which programs/synths/plugins did you use?

anyway, beautifull peace of music, thanks for sharing.

I read that wrong and added an extra "n" near the begining of the title. Childish, I know......

Sixela – that track is mental! I like it a lot! It sounds like it’d be really good fun jamming it out in session view. This’ll be staying on my harddrive, definitely a keeper. I dunno what to suggest in the way of constructive criticism, maybe dropping the beat at some point and giving it a more final sounding end in place of the fade-out.

Ssonic – thanks for the compliments. The song was put together in Live using wavs exported from FLStudio. You’re spot on about the familiar sounding presets too, direct from z3ta+ and plugsound free. I agree with you about the beats too, that’s something I wouldn’t mind going back to later to try and sort out.

Dirty-minded guest – that’s the name I was saving for the remix, it’ll have to be pretty sick sounding to justify a title like that.
