Anyone try this contrl surface out..got anyt thing to say bout it ...and what else would be a good option around the same price

i have one and i really don't mind it at all. a lot of people ahte on it, but i've found it to be of great value for the price.
however, with that said i almost never touch it anymore. it's all trigger finger for me these days.

Was also looking at the Behringer BCF2000 is that any better?

For 200$, it's a damn fine controller. But like a big mac, you get what you pay for... the knobs are of course plastic, and the firmware is a bit ghetto, but it's a great controller for the price.

ya..it's fine. not terribly solid, but it's light, which is nice for lugging to gigs. faders could have smoother action...
it's a good workhorse. i use mine all the time.

When I first got mine, I liked the look but was a tad disappointed with the plasticky feel of the sliders and knobs. I've had bad experiences with the knobs on M-Audio stuff crapping out on me so I was a bit worried. It's in quite a tough little case though and seems pretty resiliant so far.
Overall, very useable. Perfect partner for live. On top of the 9 sliders and 24 knobs there are 14 buttons you can progran. It's missing a crossfader I suppose, but definitely best value out there.
If I had £300 quid I'd get a bistream 3X.

Not overly keen on the looks but that extra knob for each channel would be well useful, it has a cross fader, a ribbon controller and some unique funcitions too (eg: you can record some automation and then replay by just pressing a button
)

I've got a UC-33e and love it - just the job for DJ'ing. BUT - since I've started using dummy clips, it's getting used less and less.
But I still feel the need to get down with the rotaries as the dummy clip plays - let the punters think I'm actually DOING something!
(That was a joke...)
