basically, i have NO idea how to get it to work.. lets say i want to play using my novation 25sl... everytime i hit a key on the keyboard i have the same instrument..

can someone pls explain a newbie how to change instruments? and in what order If you watch the operator video you see some guy on the keyboard playing different instruments that he can select and then tweak... how does one pick different instruments? i drag operator into an empty track ... THEN WHAT? sorry, i am an idiot....

You can change presets by pressing the 'hot-swap' button in the right upper corner (the one with the 2 circular arrows) on Operator..
After you press that button Live takes you to the Operator presets in the browser..
Double click a preset to change instrument..

yes but even when i press the hotswap button, all i see in browser is the same button beside the device operator... i cant actually select a preset... if i click on operator in the browser, there are no sub files underneath it... sorry again, i just dont get it...

ACTUALLY JOHN THANKS! i think i know what happened, i bought the boxed version of live 6 and then downloaded the upgrade 6.0.3... does that mean that i need to download all the live packs all over again???? thanks..
