why when i press tap then get crash ..??

same here i sent bug report to Ableton, hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Hi,

which version of Live do you use? When did you create the Live Set? Is it from an older version of Live?

The problem seems specific to certain Live Sets, so any information in that direction (anything special about this set) would help.

For me I use Live 6.0.3 and it happens when I pull a new blank set after I've rebooted and start fresh. No older set or file was used.

Okay after writing this I pull up Ableton 6.3 and click inside the tap button and it goes to 0 and then POOF! Gone!

Any Solutions?

do you have a template set in your preferences folder?
does it still happen after clearing the preferences (preferences.cfg and template.als) from
Win: C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/Application Data/Ableton/Live/Preferences
Mac: /User/Library/Preferences/Ableton

WhaLa! It works I guess the old template file had to be changed. Very strange!
