How can I make my own Kit...?
I need a certain 'kick, snare, hat...' into one track because Im limited to 4 tracks with my Live Lite 5.2 M-Audio Edition.
Just a link to the tutorial would be helpful enough.
Thanks!
**I can't find anything**

- make a midi track
- drop impulse into it
- drag and drop drum sounds into the impulse slots
- set monitor to IN
- set the track's input to your keyboard/controller
hit record, render to .wav, sell out and retire.

wow, its so easy. Thanks.
That leads to another easy question...
Dose Live come with a good sample sound library?
Whats the directory to the folder... theres so many other folders.
Can I use Battery 3 sounds?

you can use .wav or .mp3, be sure to get the Live Packs from the Ableton web site, under downloads.
hit the triangle next to IMPULSE in the browser to see presets. On Impulse if you hit the orange circle with the swirly arrows it lights up, then select a preset in the browser to make the orange swirl appear there, hit ENTER and you just changed presets.
also look at
www.thecovertoperators.com they're a couple of insane users who put out a FREE, HUGE HUGE drum kit (no samples).
I don't know battery.
Of course, check the manual over, opening the .pdf and using the SEARCH feature works great for me.

How can I put an individual bass/snare/ride into the Impulse, instead of switching every sound.
I guess what I meant by my first question was:
How can I make a custom Impulse?

you can either hot-swap the individual samples in Impulse- or drag and drop from a folder on your computer (in lives browser or from Explorer/Finder).
some of these might help you out man,
