As far as VST's, try xoxos whoosh:

But swoosh noises are just white noises (or other noise forms) that have a filter sweep applied with eq. To set this up in Live you first need a sample of at least several seconds of white noise. You could either record some white noise in a sound editor such as Audacity and import it into Live or insert a vsti synth capable of making white noise into a Midi Track in Live. Once you have some white noise, apply a parametric eq on the same effects channel as your white noise. Set it to low pass or high pass and automate the ferq button to sweep the filter. Play around to see what sounds best. You could also use pink noise, blue noise, ect.

other ones are synth stabs with long releases, record in and then reverse, - or snares/crashes etc with long tail reverbs, record in and then reverse. also try opening the filter towards the break, snare rolls, percussive shunts, anything to create more energy

Hey funk, can you elaborate on this a little as know exactly what that sounds like in a track,
but how do you create this?
& Jeskola whats a percussive shunt?
just trying to put sounds to method here.
Thanks in advance
