Echo put new driver on their site. It may reset (meaning fuck it up) Live in some weird way, all channels including FX returns deactivated etc and gods know what else, it happens only if the Audiofire is connected. Unfortunatelly I saved one project it is messed up now for good, but if you dont save then no problem can reinstall old driver and sholud work all right.
I am sure they will fix it quickly, obviously were to quick to release.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd have done that update (currently on 3.0.2).
Edit: technically it's just the firmware on the device that changes. The drivers are core audio (err, I think).

Rikhyray, did you contact Echo about this? If so did they give any indication that they would have this resolved soon?

I was told two weeks tops (Now going on two months).
I found that the problem also relates to a driver used, which will be part of the OSX 10.4.9 update. So basically I think I'm waiting for 10.4.9 and afterwards the echo driver will no doubt follow this.

Robin -
are you accessing the Readme file at all, or just winging it? All of the PDFs are corrupted that I can find. Its probably not a big deal, but I likes to have teh Documentation handy.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, I know...it's pretty weird. All[/] of the PDFs are messed up, and unfortunately I don't have a Windoze box handy....
Don't suppose I could get you to email me a copy of yours? PM if that's cool.
Thanks a bunch -

Well hell -- I got my grubby mucks on Acrobat Reader & they open fine. Preview wouldn't do it, though.
So, thanks!
