An elegant solution to store + recall 3rd party VST presets?

The present system of preset saving and reloading presets (or fx chains etc. ) for the "native " live plug-ins is truly excellent and a real time-saver.

A similar simple ( one click + name ) way to store and re-select presets created on 3rd party vst FX plugs and vst instruments would REALLY help workflow.

( e.g Similar to Cubase SX3 for example - NOT Cubase 4!)

Having to stop work and dig around the hard drive for vst presets is such a interruption to creative flow.

make a rack and save it as a Live device

The system could be improved for sure.

Live remembers the last path where you saved a preset for EACH plugin though, so if you create a folder for each p;lugin you save presets for, it's pretty easy to manage fxp's.

Ok that helps. I didn't know that. I 'd got so accustomed to Cubase NOT remembering the last folder that I didn't think to check...

Thanks for that.
