Still can't delete clips without serious error message

Not the biggest gripe I've had with the program by a long way but isn't it about time ableton fixed the "serious program error" you get nearly every session when you try to move or delete multiple clips at once. The workaround is to deactivate/reactivate all the cluips so that they are all the same status before moving/deleting but we've put up with this inelegant workaround for long enough.
Can't believe how few users have drawn attention to this issue after it's been around so long. i have dozens of friends that use live. ALL OF THEM HAVE THIS ERROR.
Come on Ableton, surely this must bug you too. a constant reminder of slack programming for HOW many versions now?!!
That aside I'm actually well pleased with Live 6. many issues have been sorted, racks are fantastic and they've even returned the plugin buttons to auto summon the correct parameter in the automation again (missed this since live 3 i think)!
p.s. while I write this my music buddy behind me has had 6 (count em) of these serious program errors. Wouldn't look good at an expo demonstration would it?!
