Live (all versions): Limitation on Clip Loop Length
Posted: Mon Jan 22, 2007 12:10 am
This is something Ive noticed in all versions of Live till now. It is either:
- a bug (in which case I am reporting it)
- a limitation (which means its a feature request), or
- i am not getting something i should be ...
When trying to loop a clip in very short intervals, I run up against a limitation ... I can only set the brackets up to 16th bar intervals.
ie if I want to loop the clip at 32nd bar or higher, I cant do it.
Take a four bar clip, highlight the loop, and keep halving the loop,. It stops at a 16th bar selection then wont move
So if we are trying to create (for instance) rolls out of a clip faster than 16th notes, it doesnt work
Why?
