hey ho. shortly after starting to use ableton 6 (and losing all my vst capability - see seperate post for more info) i was mid concert and my midi in ad out stopped working. next concert i tried using a friends soundcard, but still on joy. have tried fiddling with my macbooks audio and midi prefs, but still on joy.
any ideas? someties i can get midi out from my mac, but never in, and sometimes ot out either.

Did you try a different cable? I use an M-Audio UNO for connecting my MS20 (korg legacy collection), Roland V-Synth, or Triton Extreme (both 61 keys).

yes, i tried 2
