How can I send midi note data from Cubase SX2 into Live 3

How can I send midi note data from Cubase SX2 into Live 3 using XP so that SX2 is triggering my live loops. I understand how to trigger the loops from an external keyboard but how can I actually use SX2 midi o.p. to control live 3 from a single machine?

(i guess you don't want to use rewire, which does what you need but prevents you from using vst fx in live)
if you're on a Mac, you can use Midi Patchbay
if you're on a windows PC, use Midiyoke
(links on osxaudio and google
both apps allow you to perform "virtual" connections between apps
on the same pc
