I used the search but after reading for a while i couldn´t manage to do it so cAn someone explain me how to save programs in KP3 as a midi controller to control diferents fx,let´s say that with program 1 i want to control a beat repeat in channel 1,then change to program 2 in the KP3 and be able to control another fx,let´s say filter delay in channel 2.Please help .Thanks a lot

although, it should be pretty easy, just make program one on the kp3 send different information than program 2.

Then live's midi map is super easy to use.

You should be able to set this up w/ Live racks.

First use the KP3 editor to make all the program change buttons output on the same midi channel and CC#, but with different control values.

Next, map that as a controller to a Live FX rack knob in whatever track.

Finally, map that knob to control the chain selector to switch FX.

Should work.

sorry,yeah is kaoss pad 3.i was able to map the kaoss pad to the fx in live,my problem is that i would like to be able to map kaoss pad to diferent fx and be able to choose wich one i control from the kaoss pad.Thanks

well, its pretty easy on live's end, you don't even need to use racks.

you just have to make the KP3 send different cc#s or be on a different channel for each different preset on the KP3 that you are switching between.

i couldn´t manage to do it with diferent channels but i could asigning diferent cc´s to the knobs,isn´t it possible to use the same cc in like another presets over the same midi channel,i guess is not gonna be possible.Thanks everybody
