Have a look at acid pro 6.0 and see how each piece of audio has a dedicated envelope. Also have a look and see how you are able to slide and adjust the startpoint of the chunk right on the chunk itself (as opposed to down below in ableton). You simply hold down alt and slide the audio within the chunk to your hearts content.

It looks like even in live 6 , you cannot apply a volume envelope on a "per-chunk" basis without 1. warping the sample and 2. having to adjust it down below as opposed to right in the track view. This is very counter intuitive.

In Arrangement? You can change the volume envelope for the track in the track display up top.

In live, each clip has it's own clip envelopes, but there are also the envelopes for the track
