It looks very good and I will be buying a copy for all my computers.
Mhm. For the Classic, the Quadra (coming soon!), the iBook and the Silicon Graphics Indy... All will run Vista.
Yessss.
Actually, I can't see the video cos my OS doesn't have flash support. Fucking YouTube.

Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Come on man! defend M$ and I'll defend those stupid commercials and coffee culture, graphics artist apple stereotypes. What happened man? is the magic gone?
well truth is, as I'm going to Uni and dont need much power and the mrs totally relies on her laptop in Live gigs and the powerbook's power supply has just gone, plus it's quite old now, so we're swapping when the new power supply arrives so I'll be mac from now on!
actually the is only because it's a G3 900 and Live never did well on those!
got 10.4 though and I quite like that
it's a Pismo with a 900mHz upgrade in it, 1GB ram, 20GB HD - the only bummer is the 8MB video - but like I said I'm only going to need to run Acrobat, word, safari/firefox etc and the IT course software (dr scheme), and occasionally Live for fun (it'll at least do something) so I'm not too bothered really - quite looking forward to it
might even think about getting that metasynth 4 upgrade!
the best thing about it is the way you can use both bays to hold a battery each

I just whish Apple would go back to the concept of bays..... I'm waiting on a eSATA external HD and it will be better than an internal is now 320GB for 94$.... it's insane how cheap HDs are now! the Express card, HD, and external case cost $170 total, and this thing will be as fast as my internal 7200rpm drive!forge wrote:the best thing about it is the way you can use both bays to hold a battery each
Anyway, yeah, 900mhz is pushing it, I had an 800 G4 powerbook that ran like one soft synth, and maybe 4-5 fx... but I was pretty happy.

1G of RAM? Hah! I made all my best tunes in 384 with room left for Chess.app!
(Well, maybe not quite... but it's OK, you just need to learn to love it:))
