TECH SUPPORT ON ABLETON

WHAT IS GOING ON???????????????????? I just cant seem to get ANY answers to my problems that I NEEEEEEEEEEEEED SORTING OUT!!!!
I dunno if they are too BUSY, but for Gods sake its RIDICULOUS!!! I have emailed FOUR times now the techs and not hear ANYTHING BACK!!! This is getting on for 2 weeks now.
I NEEEEEEEED HELP!!!!! Got a gig very very soon and basically cant call up ANY of my dj sets without getting the 'serious error has occurred, you should try renaming your track ....etc' message.

This message is very diferent to the technical support of ableton that i know of.

They are normally very good, which is why I am kinda annoyed that I have had no help with a very important (it is to me anyway) problem.

did you try trashing your prefs? reinstalling Live?

Hi stinky, in preferences I took off the button that lets me use the vst folder as was suggested to me by somebody else. Still getting the problem. Should I uninstall then reinstall? Its weird, its only just started to do this error thing. Have been using vst effects with no problem too in the past, so I cant see that they are the problem as like I say I am still getting this error message.

you're on mac? pc?
re-installing is something easy that's worth doing.
you can temporarily rename your VSR plugins forder to make sure it's avoided.
if you're on a pc, maybe try to restore the system to a moment when you know it worked.

no, i meant trash your preferences. it's a file, that you need to delete, in your profile. it's called preferences.cfg
if that doesn't work, then i would try uninstalling and reinstalling live
you may also want to let us know if you're using a PC or a MAC

Sorry if your mails got left over. We somehow were quite busy in the support lately, and it is always possible that a mail or an issue in your case is replied late, but I believe someone from the support is answering you right now.

Was this the tone of your emails to tech support?
Did you give them any more information about your setup?
Mac? PC? Plug-ins?
That message does not have enough information for anybody here to help you with your problem. So unless your attitude was different in your emails to the Abes and you provided more info, I wouldnt expect a response any time soon.
