Saving/Overwrite/ live sets

Hello,
I was curious if someone/anyone new how to fix my problem. When ever I am in a live set, playing some samples or what not, and I adjust anything; when I go to save the set it makes me save it as a new project. This is very annoying. Does anyone know how to overwrite the set when I go to save it? Rather then create a new project?
