+/- octave key command on MIDI notes

One thing I really miss from Cubase is the key command to send midi notes up or down an octave. I end up doing this quite a lot in finding the best voice placement. Also it counts as 12 undos if you up arrow them in Live.

In Cubase it is shift+up arrow or shift +down arrow.

Agreed.

Shift + arrow up/down in Cubase is very handy.

1 keypress as opposed to 12 keypresses to audition notes an octave highr/lower (or 24 if you don't like it) seems a bit excessive by comparison...

cheers,

I've been missing this feature as well.

why not use the Pitch effect, set to +12 ot -12 or whatever. that would do the job? quicker to undo too.
