Midi mapping problems - weird stuff.

i have spent thousands buying selling and trying midi keyboards and dj controllers from faderfox to bitstream to behringer - to korg to cme and now edirol, and i have found all tempremental with live.
ccs move change offset with the faderfox and bitstream.
also faders and rotary some dont work full stop on keyboard controllers, others duplicate same ccs .
i have been in touch with live last year with version 5 and then this year with version 6 and 6.03, all i get is ! it must be your midi controller, yet about 8 midi controllers later they are all coincedently having the same problem,
i think not.
i love live' its idea its interface and its possibility, but weird problems galore, that can not be exsplained and in some cases can not be proved to ableton.
but at present i am quite knarked at being ridicouled with these problems.
at present my second fader on my edirol pcm 30 does not work with live mapping' full stop, and rotary 1/2 and 6 have the same cc.
how many more controllers as stanadard come offset like this ( or at least you lovley ableton poeple keep telling me this is the case.
what is next i did a midi ox test and it showed controller sending data, but obviously live is not resceiving, also my controller works fine with sonar 6 -cubias - making waves - computer music - etc so problem is live .
what is my next port of call.
