I'm a janitor for a mental health clinic. no joke. I also clean a small office building. And sometimes I sell garlic with my dad and uncle at home and garden shows. like I said... no joke...
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

work at johns hopkins university in Baltimore MD.
In animal services where I take care of lab rats and birds and monkeys, "I'm the person they LIKE to see each day :?
semi-professional (paid sparingly but consider the importance of making music of higher priority than hobby status, about 2-3 gigs a month personally published cds etc)
Been in bands since 14 yr old. Got into live in one of them around version 2.
Went to school for art (printmaking) thus the job with lab animals :D
I like the idea of this thread, so other contributions would interest me and I'm sure others. Great idea! It's a big world.

1. born and raised in Puerto Rico

2. full time student at Rhode Island

3. HOPEFULLY (wish me luck!!!) a full time student at New York come next semester

4. I started music production as a hobby

5. It's become much more than a hobby.

6. If #3 becomes a reality, then #5 changes to: "music production, audio technology, acoustics, and sound design are my career" :D

1. I'm Tony. www.myspace.com/alwaysclosing (all posted music here was done on a shitty laptop two years ago)
2. I grew up in Wisconsin. Spent 6 years living in Southern California, working in the video game industry, learning production and releasing drum and bass on G2 Recordings and Magic Vinyl.
3. I'm in Atlanta now and don't plan on leaving for a long time, if ever. I own an advertising firm specializing in management and the capitalization of potentially perishable inventory such as seats, tee times and hotel rooms, etc... www.pointmarketinggroup.com.
4. Despite working 70 hours a week, I probably get a good 20 hours a week in on a focused production time. It's a hobby and love first with my personal stuff, but I'm currently working on paid commercial rap projects... makin that south club shit. Sold nearly 5000 12"s on previous dnb projects, did contract work for Adobe's sales/product seminars and menu music for Neversoft and Electronic Arts. So not sure what my answer is here... I dont think of myself as a professional but I'm a cock and think my IS professional hahah.. anyway... whatever. live roxsox.

thats me... goofy ass dude
