I dropped it on the floor and now I hear pops & clicks sometimes. It also seems to occasionally invent it's own start point for the sample.

i've just been playing with Guru demo...i cant believe ive never come across it before, its incredible. I cant get over the whole thing of it automatically slicing a loop & deciding what hits they are.

But that is actually the weakest part of Guru. I haven't used the slicing much, but I think it works so-so. On the other hand it has so many other good features.

shows how behind the times i am.
I cant seem to get the groove to work though, nothing shows in the text box & doesnt do anything if i click on it, any ideas?

Tatapoum's awesome, if only it weren't so damn buggy!
Oh and that painfully white interface...you can't stare at that thing for too long! It helps to change the colors of all the sliders and knob values, though you have to save that with a set template, cuz the changes are only saved with the song not the instrument.

I mean, for the price of Guru, you can have FL Studio which still shows its roots as a drum machine. Focusing on beat making, FLS is not only intuitive and quick. It's also very flexible and has some tricky tools which Guru will never have.
Proper beatslicing? Included
Multisample drums? Included (Akai MPC clone called FPC)
Stepsequencer with per step shift, vol, pan & stuff? Included
Groove template creation? Included
+ many more
Forget FLS' as a Cubase wannabe. But try its drumming capabilities.
