Scale Fold parameter Bug

Dear all

The scale device doesn't act as described by the Info View. When I hold the mouse pointer over the fold button, the info view has a description which says that when a note has a offset greater than 6 semitones, the note is folded back. The example gives C3 to A3 will become C3 to A2 when the fold button is on.

I'm using the Live Demo 6.0.3 in Windows XP SP2. Steps to repeat this bug are below:

Add scale to MIDI track
Set C to map to A
Send C3 note to that MIDI track

Result:
A3 note

Select "Fold" Button
Send C3 note to MIDI track

Result:
A4 note

Can any Live 6 owner repeat this issue and send to the ableton team? I'm yet to purchase Live 6 or 5 for that matter...
because of ongoing bugs with Live's MIDI devices, and lack of support for third-party freebie MIDI plugins which work in other hosts....

Can someone try this for me?

It's the info view thats wrong.
Activating the fold button when C3 is mapped to A3, will "fold" the note (C3) to A4.

And FYI, 3rd party MIDI plugins do work.

excuse me for my

I meant to say something like this:

I've found many freeware plugins which process MIDI do not work in Live, when on initial investigation they work in other VST hosts. By processing MIDI, I mean devices like arpeggiators and MIDI delays. One example is a plugin called "Talent".

Could just be that the freeware plugins aren't tested on a wide range of hosts or something I haven't figured out yet in the demo...
