I type this not having upgraded or tryed out the new 6.0.5 update, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.

Say I'm playing a synth part, and I tweak the cutoff filter, the entire Ableton GUI just freezes. The audio plays as normal, the screen just doesn't update itself. It's almost as if your just looking at a screen shot in live.

This tends to happen mostly with Albino III and Arturias Prophet V (See other thread about that one.)
It is not limited to those two though. It only happens with VSTs.

i get this to with clip automation , the more automation on the clip the worse it gets , for example , the line that moves along a sample as it plays jumps large distances acrross the sample or when editing the automation the mouse and automation point freeze then appear some distance from where you started , the same is also true when changing anything such as sends or volume sliders.

Well, I updated to 6.05 and this was the first thing I tested. It indeed still happens. Doesn't matter if the track in question is armed or not. Quite maddening really.
