is there any way to send the same midi information to a VST, as well as an audio effect (that obviously can recieve midi trigger info) that's on another channel (ie a midi-controlled gate effect) ?

so that say, every time a synth plays a note, the midi gate on another channel (say, a return track) is triggered?

something like this would be rather easy with cubase
