Loop glitches when using Reaktor in Live

Hey all,

I have a problem with Reaktor FX plugs in Live 3: With Live in loop mode (e.g. looping bar 5-9 in stead of running endlessly), there's a serious glitch and noise everytime the loop starts over. The cpu-meter also jumps up some 5-6 % at the loop point. It happens even at low cpu-loads (< 15 %). It doesn't matter if the plug is on or off - even muting the ensemble in Reaktor doesn't help. The only thing that helps is to remove the Reaktor plug(s) entirely from the Live set. (It also helps to raise the buffer settings to above 1300 samples, but this makes the live recording of clips and processing of live signals unusable - I use 192 samples buffer w/o glitches when loop is off). No other 3rd-party plugs I've got (MDA's, Ruby tube, etc) have this problem.

Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions? It's very sad not being able to work with loops, it's unvaluable when improvising, esp when using Live and Reason together.

I'm on a Powerbook 1GHz, osx 10.2.6, 1024 Mb RAM

Hi Dag

Are you using version 4.0.4 of Reaktor? Other versions are know to have problems.

Yes, Reaktor 4.0.4.001.

I currently use the internal soundcard for input, and RME Multiface for output.
