i was installing the 1.5 update and it said my serial number was expired...i contacted Ableton but have not heard anything yet. what else can i do and why did it get disabled?

Yeah this has happened to me twice and its making me crazy, to make matters worse I have 0 days remaining of trial period and I cant use the program untill they contact me.

your old response should work with the new challenge. if you didn't write your response down, you'll have to wait for an e-mail reply from tech support...

btw when you email them include your serial number and the new challenge, so they can send the response immediately instead of sending a reply asking you for them.

i hope they remedy this somehow because it would suck to need authorization right before a gig and be waiting on an email response...

thanks. i did indeed write down my old response so i'll give that a try. hope it works. and i sent them all my numbers in the email so we'll see what happens. thanks again.
