Files compatibility

Post by P8 » Mon Apr 29, 2002 1:42 am

Probably is a stupid question, but seems like I can use only wav files inside Live.
Is there a way to use also AIFF or SDII files?

And, if the answer is no, do you guys know about a conversion program which lets you convert entire libraries with one click ?
(I don't want to convert the files one by one :D)

Thanks

files compatibility...

Well, I'd talked to Christian about the files in the past...it's not just wavs, but some aiffs and others. Unfortunately for some reason, (at least in version 1.1 and before) some batches simply gave out a "corrupted" message or something like it...I was told that the problem would be resolved bit by bit.
The only "kind" of file I know for a fact wasn't ok are "exs" (from emagic's exs24).
well, as I say all this, vs 1.5 might have solved a lot of it...I'll check it out.
If you hear about a way to convert entire folders of files, LET ME KNOW!

hello P8,

You can use aiff files but no SDII files with Live. If you have a problem by using aiff files, if would be nice if you can send me 2 short of these files so that I can check what the problem is.
