hi guys,

i have stumbled across this function whereby i can use my mouse to adjust the value of a parameter -more specifically the speed of the simple delay.

problem is, i do not know how do i regain my usual mouse back - what key command do i press???

(i am currently using my other mac downstairs to send out this sos because i am really stuck on my other machine as you can't access anything else when you do what i just did...except put it to sleep)

sometimes the computer just freezes up and the mouse can't boot, with the only solution beign to turn it off with the power button (sometimes you have to hold it a LONG time). Maybe this is what has happened, not some special mouse feature?

no but you see i CAN use the mouse ; but only to increase/decrease the value of the simple delay repeat speed..... it is confined to that area in the software, meaning it is stuck there

audio plays, it is definitely not a hang, but i'm just stuck there :?:

bummer. It sounds like somehow the computer thinks you are still holding the mouse button down? Maybe try to plug in a different mouse if possible to try it out, or if possible just reboot?

What exactly have you done?

To get the factory settings of live back, you can trash the preferences file.
