MicroTonic overwrites saved automation on loading track

hi there,
i've just experienced a very annoying problem. i just got microtonic and really like it, cool sound, very intuitive, everything great ... except ... when i load a song i made some days ago, all of the recorded automation, which worked perfectly is gone. the dots i put in there are still showing up, but they're all flattend. microtonic or ableton seems to flatten the curve on loading the song. this really gets me mad, because it means, i cannot automate any of the patterns!
PLEASE help on this problem!

EDIT: this ONLY happens with the AU version! thank god (or who ever) it works with VST!
