The revolutionary EVO5 is expected to set a new standard

Ecler will be one year more at the Musik Messe exhibition in Frankfurt with two different stands: a corporate booth for its PA systems (hall 8.0 booth E50) and a DJ booth located in B35 Hall 5.1.

This year Ecler will reveal a new mixer that promises to turn into the perfect tool for analog and digital mixing, music production and live performances. The EVO5 will be showcased in our stand with master performances by DJs Ziel 100, C-Rock and Kabuki. All of them will show the benefits of combining the best of the analogue and digital worlds.

More details coming soon…

If it's really portable then they might be onto a winner.

Otherwise I can't see the market for these analogue mixer/midi controllers being that large unless everyone who runs a club/bar decides to use them as the house mixer (in which case they'll go pioneer or a&H like they do now).

- Firewire soundcard (12 channels?)
- Midi (64 presets)
- TFT color screen
- 2 x FX section
- Ableton preset (and others)

So it's an analog mixer with digital sound card and effects? I didn't realize that when I read about it.

Hm. Euro 1200-1700 = Zero4-Zero8.

I think I'll pass if that's the case.

My favorite feature of this device has to be the password-protected volume limiter. A godsend for both for club-owners and hearing-sensitive clubbers against near-deaf DJ's. :)

Which particular street is this? Is it more reliable a source than gearjunkies?

These guys are pretty reliable. Let's hope the sales rep on the show floor made an error...

I can't see how the fully equipped nuo5 can be as costly as a zero8. I guess we'll see.

I like the look of this device but it needs 3 or 4 buttons more per channel so I'll pass. I think we're getting closer though.

Well, a DJM-800 still sells for 1600 Euro. We'll see indeed.

More buttons would be nice indeed. I think I'll settle for one of the new machines (probably a Korg) with one of those MPD or PadKontrol things...
