Anyone with similar experience ? I would like to upgrade to panther but I would miss the Bidule ability to play with my VSTi.

I've had the opposite experience, and actually find Bidule even more stable under Panther. If you're using Jaguar and your system is stable, I'd be hesistant to fix something that isn't broken, but if you're already using Panther and running into problems, try repairing permissions with Disk Utility and if that doesn't help, perhaps you can try a utility like Xupport or System Optimiser to delete launch caches.

Another standard troubleshooting tip to try is deleting preference files.

Good luck!

zendari -

ask the plogue guys - they have been extremely helpful in troubleshooting with the app. i received a response back from them almost immediately.

i had a recent problem with bidule crashing at the just after the splash page launched; i initially thought it might be an issue with os 10.3, but rather it had to do with a bug that introduced problems when i updated to absynth 2.0.4.

i'm running panther as well, and the patch fixed the problem. apparently there will be new release of the program on saturday nov. 13. one idea: be sure that you have updated to 10.3.1 on the apple site, and you aren't still running 10.3 out of the box.

also, check out my thread on the plogue site - there is a link to an updated build, which will expire this saturday when the new release comes out.

hope this helps.

I don't know if you've already done this...

but you have to create a MIDI IN bidule corresponding to whatever device you want to use to control it and then wire it into your Reaktor VSTi bidule.
