hi, i recently bought an axiom 25 and i love it. When i start ableton up the only things that were automatically mapped were the keys and the pitchbend. I had to go out of my way and follow this link http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 000#433000
to manually assign all the drum pads.

The next thing i want working are the knobs. When i run reason with my midi controller it automatically maps the most important virtual knobs to my knobs on my controller. I would like an automatic setup similar to that. How do i fix this?

There is an Axiom preset that assigns the pads to Impulse. Number 16 from memory.

There's even a Axiom lesson that comes with Live 6. Or perhaps it's a seperate download. Either way, it's pretty easy to get your hands on. It will explain things quite thoroughly.

As for the knobs - just midi learn them (ctrl+m >> click what you'd like to map >> twist the knob). It's really quick and easy, and one of the places that Live truly shines.

alright i checked out that lesson. it did get my play stop and record buttons set up, and it did allow me to use my knobs only to control volume for each of my tracks. But i wasn't able to set them to the operator controls (even after setting glob chan to 16.) I also tried to get the pads set up for the triggering of individual clips 1-8 within a scene, but it failed to. I think there are some things i may be doing wrong. Can anyone help me?

i also have the problem where my Axiom 49 does not seem to nativly support live 6.0.5. Its setup and configured correctly as far as i can tell. Just nothing is mapped by default??
